Childhood and Youth
Fraser-McGurk was born in Box Hill, Victoria, on April 11, 2002, and showed promise as a cricket player early on. At the age of nine, he began playing junior cricket at the Boroondara Cricket Club. Early recognition of his potential led to him representing Australia at multiple age groups, notably the U-19 squad in 2019.
National Premiere and Ascent
In the 2019–20 season, Fraser–McGurk started his professional career. Interestingly, he made a fifty in his debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL), List-A (Marsh Cup), and First-Class (Sheffield Shield) cricket formats. His skill and versatility in a variety of formats were demonstrated by this exceptional achievement.
Even in the Big Bash League (BBL) with the Melbourne Renegades, he was still making waves in domestic cricket. He was a fan favorite because to his aggressive right-handed batting and ease of boundary clearing.

Global Premier League debut and IPL fame
Fraser-McGurk’s consistent results in domestic cricket led to his call-up to the national team in 2024. He took against the West Indies in his debut ODI encounter in February 2024.
That same year, he was chosen as a replacement by the Delhi Capitals to play in the Indian Premier League. Fraser-McGurk has had an incredible season. He recently made headlines when he broke the record for the fastest fifty in the IPL 2024 by scoring 65 runs off of just 18 balls against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He stunned the cricketing world with his power hitting prowess, hitting seven sixes and five fours in this innings.
